Border Moon EV: Elucidating Voyage

A voyage of self discovery across a strange sci-fi world!

On Bitwi the Border Moon, in the village of New Corinth, every child coming of age takes a road trip out west with their parent. Their destination, The Sculpting Dunes, where they will create a sculpture to leave their mark on this ever-changing transitory world.

Sit in the passenger seat of your parent's hovercar, ride out west through various biomes. You might not be in the driver's seat, but you make all the decisions here. Which route to take, what to talk about, what radio station to listen to.

Every choice you make will affect your personality, which will change the outcome of the sculpture you build! Role-play and find out what kind of person you are, or will become!

Known Issue!

In the web player version of the game, it will crash if you exhaust all possible conversation topics. This does not happen on the Windows version. A fix is being worked on, apologies for the inconvenience!

Controls

Use your mouse and keyboard to interact with the game!

Click to advance text and choose dialog options, click and drag to adjust the radio dials in the car. When in the car, W A S and D allow you to perform the actions shown on screen, when out of the car W A S and D let you move your character around, and clicking lets you get back in the car.

Road Trip Game Jam

This game was made for Road Trip Game Jam 2025! It was created over the course of three months in the GameMaker engine.

Enjoy a chill journey across the world, with 20 branching conversation topics, 5 biomes, and 4 radio stations. 

Please note that due to the game-jammy nature of this release, there may be bugs. We had a lot of ideas for additional content that didn't make it in as well. I hope you have fun!
